The Lodge & COVID-19 (Updated Aug 15)
UPDATE: Sequoia & Kings Canyon National Parks are now open! While all trails are open, the visitor centers and campgrounds will remain closed at this time.
As a small business comprised of just 11 lodge rooms and 11 cabins, you will find it easy to maintain "social distancing" and still immerse yourself in the natural beauty you're craving. We have fresh, open air access to each room and no shared hallways to worry about. With two salt-water chlorinated pools (both open) and the river to wade in, there is always a place to swim completely alone or safely away from others.
The only shared indoor space we have is our check-in lobby, which remains closed to the public at this time. As a result we have modified our check-in and check-out process to be contact-less and you can also expect a phone call from us a few days prior to arrival with more details.
We continue to deep clean all our rooms and cabins with anti-bacterial eco-friendly products and have added additional focus on all high touch areas such as remote controls, door knobs, light switches, etc. Furthermore, all our laundry is washed in high heat washers.
Lastly, to reduce the number of guests, turn-over, and continue our work toward our sustainability goals, we have a two-night minimum stay from May 15th until September 30th. We hope that spending at least two days with us will provide you time to explore the parks and still have some time left to have an experience right here as well. With some extra time you could even take a wellness class at our yoga studio on site, book a massage, go fishing, or join us for a star-gazing program. Sitting next to the river for hours simply daydreaming is also a totally acceptable way to pass the time around here!
We look forward to hosting your rejuvenation steeped in nature and hope you find that this river carries away all your worries, as it keeps working for us!
