“Everybody needs beauty as well as bread, places to play in and pray in, where nature may heal and give strength to body and soul.”  -- John Muir

As the very last hotel you pass before entering the park, the Buckeye Tree Lodge has been a memorable part of Three Rivers and the Sequoia National Park landscape since the late 1940's. Set alongside the banks of the Kaweah River and beside the historic landmark Pumpkin Hollow Bridge, the Buckeye offers you many areas to sit, relax, and simply enjoy the natural landscape.

We believe in the power of time spent in nature to heal all kinds of woes, and feel grateful to offer you a chance to spend a night, weekend, or even longer immersed in the beauty of mountains, natural rivers, and the world's largest trees.

Our goal is to provide gracious and friendly service, areas to enjoy peaceful natural scenery with friends and family, and space to customize your vacation to your liking. We have invested in creating a wellness space for yoga classes, retreats, and massage services to further your relaxation.

Our commitment is to continually reduce our business impact on the environment through innovative ways of sourcing supplies, conserving energy, recycling and repurposing. As a business we feel an immense responsibility to this land and donate at least 1% of our total sales each year to environmental education programs, ensuring care for this special place in the hands of the generations to come.

We hope that you will come relax by the river, hike the local mountains, give a hug to the earth's history living inside Sequoia's giant trees, and fall in love with the land of Three Rivers like we did.

We strive to make sure that the Buckeye Tree Lodge will be a place you return to often, or at least will always remember fondly.
